Can't connect to the internet. Light stays white

Hi, i'm having a troublesome problem, out of nowhere at 11pm last night my connection to the internet was cut and it hasn't reconnected since. This is a huge problem as I've just started a new job working from home last week!

 

The base light on the router is white and the wifi light and double arrow light are both green but they go off after restarting the router. could you please help me out, I called virgin and they said the earliest an engineer could be over is next Monday Smiley Frustrated

Really sorry to hear you're having trouble with your connection.

 

I've located your account and I can see an issue with the network in your area causing intermittent connections - Ref.(F005093080). Our technicians are working to get this sorted as soon as possible and have set a review date of 21st February.

 

I'll check back with you tomorrow to see if there's been an update.
