Can't connect have a green flashing arrow

Hey so I can't connect to the wifi, the speed and the Bars and stuff are all gogogo! But I can't seem to connect to the Internet.

I've turned the hub off and on again nothing. The little green up down arrow just sits there taunting me!

I'm a bit scared to press the reset button.

The big problem I have is I live in a student house and I'm not the one who's account is connected to the service so I don't have any account details so I can't call a helpline.

EDIT: I tried a reset it didn't change anything

Re: Can't connect have a green flashing arrow

Probably for the best. Based on my recent experience, not contacting the service desk is the way to prevent high blood pressure and premature ageing.

Re: Can't connect have a green flashing arrow

Realistically, no. If resetting the router hasn't made a difference the fault isn't likely to be under your control.

If you could call the service desk they'd only ask you to reboot the router. If you're lucky, they'll tell you there is a more general fault in the area and give you a scheduled date for the fix.

Re: Can't connect have a green flashing arrow

Hi Helpmeimdum,

Welcome to the Community!

Really sorry to hear you've had trouble with your connection.

If you need to speak to our team, dial 150 from a Virgin Media landline or 0345 454 1111. Also, you don't need to be the account holder to report a fault.

Let me know if you're still having trouble and I'll check it out for you.

All the best! Smiley Very Happy

Josh
