Cable problem

i believe I have a faulty cable that needs replacing as I have bad broadband and tv piculates now and then. I phoned Virgin but operater said as there is a broadband problem in my area they won't send anyone out till they fix it as that may be the problem. They obviously don't believe me even though I told him the cable connecter is loose. Not happy.

thats how it works - the system will cancel any tech visit until the area problem is solved - what is the problem with the cable
