Broken ducting and exposed virgin media cables

Exposed cable in verge next to foot path, broken ducting. Looks like a Virgin Media main cable (cable is quite thick) This is on footpath behind the far end of Stirling Close Reading RG4 6SH

Why on earth would bambamboyo have to report the cabinet issue to the relevant team?  As far as I'm concerned he's gone over and above trying to report it.  Why don't you call the people from where you are?

I assume the cable is still not fixed after nearly three months, none of this is rocket science is it, It's really quite a pathetic scenario.

Totally agree.  Delivery of a service by cable is always going to be vulnerable at its weakest links and no more so than at street cabinet level.  VM should have a program of regularly touring all street cabinets and making sure they are safe ... it's simple H&S and it's completely unacceptable that they are not doing it.

I've had a response from the Field manager. He's currently coordinating with the Cabinet Maintenance team to get this sorted out. I'll let you know when I get another update.

Thanks Josh great news. It's all a bit hidden under the fallen leaves at the moment but the broken ducting is under them somewhere! If they need anything further let me know.

Can they please also look at the double door cabinet just down the footpath from here (downwards on the slope of the path), its the one with graffiti and the doors don't lock properly as the lock system seems bent. Thank you.

The cabinet is still open.  Virgin Media don't seem to care
