Broadband down

Hi I'm having trouble with my broadband I have ran the test online several times and keep getting the result that my box Is not connected. I rang virgin switched the box on and off etc and have been told I must wait til Monday for an engineer. I have had similar problems before and my box has suddenly fixed itself hours later. Just wandering if there's anything else I can try to get it working as the plan was to play destiny 2 this weekend. The bottom light is solid green the WiFi light is also solid green and the 2 arrows are flashing green. Any help would be much appreciated cheers
