0.82MBps download speed

Hi,

For months now, we have been suffering super slow speed with our wifi connection. Frequently drops out too. Today we are getting 0.82MBps download speed, so am currently writing this from my 3G hotspot. Some odd things on the router network log too (see below). I've tried everything I can thing of. Any suggestions?

(We have a Super Hub VMDG480 router which is over 7 years old now)

hiya, could you post the downstream, and upstream details.. with the connection would it be possible to do a wired connection and re-test the speed.

I can't check with an ethernet cable as we don't have any devices with a port for it!

Although Virgin tested my hardware today (remotely) and have appointed an engineer to come round next week.

Any info in the meantime would be great as we're basically having to use 3G every evening!

You need a VM engineer to,adjust those signal levels. Phone in, if you wait for one of the VM team to pick up this thread it could be some days.

New router seems to have fixed the problem!
