Upgrade from 20mb to 100mb, What needs to be done?

Hi all,

I am due to have an engineer visit on Friday 6th to upgrade my 20mb internet to 100mb and install a tivo box.

I was wondering exactly what the engineer will be doing,

At the moment I have a cable coming into the house which goes into a small white box with Blueyonder written on it. A single cable then comes out of this and is split one end going to my modem and the other going to a V+ box.

Will the engineer need access to the blueyonder box? or need to replace any cabling? or is it a box swapping exercise ?

Cheers

yes the box will be replaceed with a virginmedia superhub, they'll also be checking signal levels for downstream on 4-5 channels & SNR with upstream also getting checked, and adjusted if need be.

the engineer might need access to the blueyonder box, all can be done from where your current modem is.
