I've heard from hundreds of Grindr guys that they are unable to connect to our App when using Wifi provided by Virgin Media. There isn't a email address to contact for support and I am based in the US. Is there a way to speak to an engineer who might know how to get our IP address unblocked from Virgin Media's servers?
Grindr is a application on BlackBerrys and Apple Mobile devices thats immensely popular if that helps you all out.

Have you checked their contact list on RIPE, Europe's version of ARIN?
Has an email address for their NOC there, just do a bit of whois-ing and you'll find them.

Virgin Active is a gym chain.
Virgin Media customer services - +44 845 454 1111 - though tihs number may not work from outside the UK, but will if you try calling via Skype.
I'm using Virgin Media and have not been able to connect for the past couple of days.

Its weird that Virgin Active is listed as an ISP on the RIPE database and there is no mention of Virgin Media. I would rather get an email contact from an engineer because customer service number either take forever to get in contact with someone or don't know how to escalate to an engineer. Plus there is usually alot of Back & forth and its easier via email.

Are you able to provide us with IP details of the server customers would connect to when using this app? Also if you're in contact with the affected customers could you ask them to post in this thread so we will be able to provide our network team with examples of some of the connections affected?

Confirmed as a Virgin Media Customer, that grindr has refused login via wifi since mid week last.
I have made a request to Grindr Tech for the IP's as they have been trying to sort this issue out for me too.
Virgin - Please contact me if you want to analyse the traffic from My IP to help pin it down.
Will post as soon as have further details.

Try researching if any of the following are being blocked by Virgin as follows
These are the IP ranges noted by Whois lookup for the
various IP addresses attempted by iPhone when hitting the Grindr Sign On button
I believe the actual sign on is the 216 addresses
as 72 and 74 are amazon & google inc, probably used for the advertising.

I'm also unable to sign on to Grindr though Virgin Media ISP. This has been going on for nearly a week now. Can't see how Virgin Media can choose what websites I can and cannot go on to when it's me who pays the bills! Seriously reconsidering to change ISP's if this is the customer service I am going to start getting from Virgin Media - it best be sorted soon.

Hi Lee (& Other Virgin Customers)
I have sussed the problem (as far as me got it working)
The problem is not blocking by Virgin as such, it's a ropey Virgin DNS server
The DHCP settings for Virgin give the DNS as
Using these dns [either of them] the Grindr logon problems continue.......
Substituting Google's public DNS settings
And voila Grindr Access is restored !!
