Package XL

Is the package XL upgraded from 20MB to 30MB since I cant find package of 20MB anymore at VM's services. Only 10, 30, 50 and 100. If its been upgraded and theres no more package of 20MB avaliable, does your speed  increase from 20 upto 30 if you had XL 20MB or it stays still as 20MB?

20 is not sold anymore. you will however remain on 20mbps.
you can upgrade to 30mbps but this requires a superhub and there is a £30 activation charge.

you will need to call vm to sort this upgrade if you wish to go ahead

I've just added SuperHub to my current package (XL 20MB) as it says £0.00 fee on 'MY VIRGIN MEDIA'. So they gonna charge me £30 for activation anyway?

the activation is to provision the hub on the docsis 3 part of the network.

The 30+ services use 3-4 bonded channels and the 20mb uses 1 channel.

you can use the superhub on the 20mbps service but to get the 30 you still need to call in and there will be the activation fee
