We got 50meg broadband installed and were giving a DIR-615 router. 3 of us have xbox 360's and xboxlive. We are having problems with our NAT settings. At the moment they are on strict, how can we change them to open. We have phoned Virgin who have told us that they are fine.
Thanks for any help

If you are looking to port forward so that you xbox can host games etc then I think the best thing to do is just to enable UPnP on the router and xbox (think this might be on by default anyway). The xbox can then tell the router what ports to forward and when.

You will need to login to the Dlink configuration pages and go to advanced settings. Here you can specify one device to operate outside of the NAT firewall or turn off the NAT firewall altogether. I would use the links provided in the thread to find out about testing the ports correctly via some other useful websites.
