When I use the internet it will just drop dead for no reason what so ever. It also seems to cause the wireless router attached to the modem to be knocked out aswell, I tested this with a second brand new router and the same happaned again. Turning off and on the router and modem will fix the problem, but it will happen again and again and again and its starting to drive me insane as I can't do any work that requires constant conenction to a remote server, and can't relax by playing any games as I'll have to start running up and downstairs hitting the power behind the television to "fix" it. The internet is shared by 3 people in the flat, however generally I will be the only one useing it, if a large amount of data is being sent/received (upwards of 500kb/s) the same thing will happen, however simply loading a google search also seems to do the same. Time Not Established Critical (3) No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out Its like that all the way through with intermetant broadcast maintainance requests. The main issue thats confusing me is how the internet dropping out is able to crash not one but 2 perfectly good wireles routers, the old one has worked perfectly well for a couple of years in another house and a brand new one with special DD-WRT firmware running on it is acting the same way. To clarify, when the internet dies I am unable to check anything, and can't connect to the router eigther, only restarting the modem and router will get anything back up and running.
