Hi, First time on here so hope I've got the correct board?
Is anyone else having problems accessing facebook.com? I was OK until 3pm yesterday, and then very briefly this afternoon, but apart from that I've had the "Internet Explorer cannot load page" message. Given coverage of the 'Moat' issue and related dedication page, I had wondered if Virgin had blocked access to the site at all.
Please could anyone enlighten me? Thanks for your time.

Thanks for message, appreciated, but I'm afraid I'm still in the dark somewhat as can't get to face book bods to find out if they indeed have a problem in some areas.
I've only got microsoft and windows - no option to change them due to other constraints.
I've found out this afternoon that other (quite local) friends have been able to get on to face book when I've not been able to and it's the selectivity that's concerning me. Only had problems this last 36hrs after using face book for over a year. I can get to other sites on internet and have checked all security settings, virus checked system etc etc so now I'm really confused.
Can anyone else offer any other advice?

try and do a traceroute to facebook.com and post the results here.
Traceroutes (taken from Mark_Wilkin post)
A traceroute is a useful tool that can help us pinpoint the location of a fault. The way to run one will depend on the Operating System you’re using.
Windows (XP unless specified)
Firstly click the Start button (known as ‘the Orb’ in Vista and Windows 7), then click Run and type CMD (Vista and Windows 7 users type CMD in the Search field) and press Enter. You should now see a black window on the screen, in here type tracert facebook.com and press Enter. Once this has finished you will need to copy the information. To do this Right Click inside the black window (which should display a small menu) and then left click on Select All. This should turn the contents white, if it has press Enter which will copy the content. You should now be able to paste this into your post.

Thanks - I'll try that.
Given that I haven't got a clue pc wise, does that mean it's a facebook problem, or one closer to home? Thanks for your time,
