How did Darth Vader know what Luke was getting him for Christmas?

Spoiler
Because he felt his presents!

For many of us this year, our advent calendars have been tossed to one side, as we’ve been counting down to December 17th.

Why? Because Star Wars: The Force Awakens opened in cinemas today.

Several members of our team headed to the local Cineplex in the small hours this morning and without any spoilers can confirm: it’s awesome.

Non-stop Galactic Excitement

To celebrate the release of the seventh installment in the space saga, Virgin Media customers who are Sky Movies subscribers can watch non-stop Star Wars in the comfort of their own homes, on demand and on the Sky Movies Sci-Fi & Horror channel – which has been renamed Sky Star Wars (until January 5th).

If you’re anything like us, this Christmas will be all about Star Wars, and what better way to spend your time between your cinema visits than watching the original trilogy on demand, and in all its glory?

For those who fully understand the power of the Force, there’s some excellent documentaries you should watch - Empire of Dreams in particular.

And if you’ve got kids who wield your TiVo® remote like a lightsaber, then fire up the CGI Clone Wars movie and series, or the new Star Wars: Rebels cartoons, which fill in the gaps between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope.

Never seen Star Wars?

If you can’t tell Darth Maul from Darth Vader, a wookie from an ewok, or Obi Wan Kenobi from Old Ben Kenobi*, then this is the perfect chance to catch-up with some of the most epic moments in cinema history.
And if it does make a Jedi out of you, you’ll still have time to catch the new film at the cinema.

What’s the best order to watch the films?

By year of release: A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith.

By chronological order: The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith, A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi.

@James_W's geeky recommended viewing order: A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith, Return of the Jedi.
