wifi light flashing

Hi, we have the hub 3.0 and the wifi light has today started to flash. Can't see an answer to this problem posted anywhere. Does anyone know the problem ?  Thanks

Re: wifi light flashing

Says in the manual that the light should be out unless there is a problem. Has been out since fitted earlier this year. Only started flashing yesterday even when computers are turned off, so not downloading or even connected. John.

What practical problem does this cause you?

Re: wifi light flashing

Has not caused any problems I am yet aware of. Everything is working ok so far but if Virgin says it should be off, then I am curious to as why it came on in the first place ?.

Re: wifi light flashing

Because they don't get the firmware right, imo. Someone else said that turning WPS off kills the rogue light which means that it looking for a connection (from the Polish Hub 3 manual).
