vivid 200mb and SuperHub3

Virgin recently upgraded me to Vivid 200mb, but I still have the SuperHub2. Should I qualify for the SuperHub3 ?

Do you want to?

If you are getting decent speeds, latency will be lower on your current router.

Re: vivid 200mb & SuperHub3

My speed seems very slow. I checked it yesterday and I was getting under 50mb (Wi-Fi) on download at various times of day. Is the Hub3 a better option for the Vivid200 ? as Virgin seem to be advertising the Vivid200 with the Hub3.

A wireless speed test is dependent on signal strength and the WiFi client

What does a wired speedtest say?

Re: vivid 200mb & SuperHub3

I have attached 2 speed test result from laptop & tablet. Both are taken from same distance from my Superhub2, and both from Virgin's recommended speed test company, www.speedtest.net.

Any advise on these speeds being acceptable with Vivid200 would be appreciated.

Re: vivid 200mb & SuperHub3

do a wired test with a device that has a gigabit card and using a cat5e cable or better - if that gives 200 then thats it as far as VM are concerned

will a hub3 improve your wifi speeds - no - thats your devices or other outside factors
