sling development sign in???

Hi,all.and merry xmas!!.

 

when i go to open IE..i get a box come up saying that virginmedia.com is asking for my signing in credentials.and it is from sling development???? it goes on to say that the details will be sent over an insecure server ???..i just cancel the box and its ok...but its only started since i logged in this morning..what is it?

Maybe the underlying temporary causes identified in the above link might provide comfort for you.

It's on the VM side, that's almost for sure and it's likely to be an authentication call to one of their servers.

Does it happen with any other browser? It would complicate matters in terms of identifying cause if it doesn't!

Have the same thing using firefox browser, started this morning.

similar thing happening with chrome browser as well but without the sling development bit. Just a box asking for authentication on virgin media home page

So it's definitely a server side thing at VM.

Thanks guys.

 

I just cancelled it..each time.after a couple of hours it stopped doing it.so,i guess a bug at VM end..
