I have just changed from Sky to virgin and the signal goes every night and we have to set it up again every night. The signal still works on the sky box and my laptop. Also the sky broadband worked perfectly beforehand.

Sorry to hear about the trouble you're having with your connection. Can I ask if you're relying on your wireless or your Ethernet connection for your TV?
If you're using the wireless, you might find that changing your wireless channel will help. If you take a look at the help article I linked you, you'll find instructions on how to do this.
