OK, since the 'fiasco' with the webmail/website debacle a week or so ago, I now have a constant 'resolving host' and a longish wait for web pages to appear, sometimes up to 20 seconds or so, which did not happen previously.
Tried clearing browser cache (chrome) and also tried IE11, (no 'resolving host') but still the same time waiting for pages to load.
Also now done a reset of the (not so) 'superhub' 2AC, (pull plug for 30+secs, not a complete reboot) but still persists.
Before last weeks mail/web problem, never had any problems. Nothing has changed on PC, all exactly as it was before. Getting annoying everytime you open a web page, you get this longish wait!!
Any ideas, or anyone else suffering the same problems??
Out of interest are you using a wireless connection when you're experiencing the Resolving host problem?
I've been suffering with this for a couple of weeks now (over wifi), but when I connect the laptop via ethernet cable to the hub the problem does not occur!
I've started a new thread about this - as I would really like to get to the bottom of this.
Hi strinjf, no my connection is, and always has been wired, cat6 cable, less than 2M from the hub.
Although the same problem does occur using wireless on laptop & tablet, it is not specific to wireless, but effects are the same.
Problem only started when we had this e-mail problem a while ago. Nothing changed on computer, nothing new installed/downloaded, etc, just this annoying 'resolving host' when using Chrome, and a long delay if using IE 11 in Win 7 pro. (timed both browsers loading same pages, and same times, just no 'resolving host' message in IE)
