Still waiting to hear how I can get a password to complete the App installation?

Thanks for responding to my last post: mobile wifi. I'm sorry to hear that this still isn't working for you. 

Try using 7890 to complete the app installation. Please let me know how this goes for you.

Do you usually have to enter a passcode when installing an app?

When is this message appearing and does any other information appear?

What type of handset do you have and is your phone running on Virgin Mobile?

Hi Mark

I have an I phone 4s and use Giffgaff not Virgin mobile. I have no other problems with Apps only this one. Every time I have tried to complete the install procedure it asks me for the pass code. I have searched the Virgin Media website and cannot find any reference to having to use a pass code or how to get one. The App downloads OK I just can't complete the install. When I try putting a code in it just says invalid and try again. No other message or instruction. It is very frustrating as the App should be readily available and part of the service I am paying a lot of money for each month!

The Virgin Media WiFi app won't complete setup unless you have a secure lock screen enabled (either via PIN, passcode, password or fingerprint).

So I'd think the passcode being prompted for is part of your Android security i.e. the passcode used to unlock the phone.
