keep losing wifi

I have recently bought a Bose music streaming system, but am unable to use it due to the constant loss of wifi signal. It was set up by the firm who supplied the system, and I have since added a wifi booster, but it's still impossible to listen to a full 1 o'clock news bulletin, let alone stream music. Both are connected to ethernet slots on the Super Hub. Can you help? Thanks

Sorry to read you are having an issue with the wireless connection.

 

You can take a look at this guide for help to improve the connection > Getting the best WiFi.

 

Do you only have this issue on the Bose? Or do other devices notice the disconnections also?

Hi Sam

 

I have tried everything in the guide apart from #3 as I'm not at all technical. Apart from the Bose, the only wifi in the house is my phone and tablet, so little competition. These drop out at the same time as the Bose, often several times in an hour.

Do you get the same issue if the booster was disconnected?

 

Does this happen if you connect through an Ethernet cable?

Hi

I was advised to get the booster because it kept dropping out, but it hasn't cured the problem. Due to the distance from the Hub to the Bose it would be difficult to connect via ethernet cable. Also, that would not help the wifi loss on my phone & tablet, which goes at the same time .
