My daughter has been connecting her iPhone to our home wi-fi fine for a couple of years with no problems.
All of a sudden she can only connect if she's literally sat next to the hub. If she moves away she loses connection. She's also not seeing any of the other networks that the rest of the family see when they connect to wifi.
We've reset the hub, changed the channel, reset her iPhone and restored back to factory settings but nothing has worked. After reading some forums I thought that possibly her iPhone antennae was broken and this was stopping her phone from find the wi-fi networks. However when she goes to college she can connect to wi-fi fine so I don't think this is the problem.
This is driving us mad - and costing us a fortune in data! If anyone can help and suggest a solution, I'd be really grateful.
Yes we've updated to the latest iOS - I think we've tried everything. I'm going to take the phone into the apple store just in case there's anything wrong with it. I'll let you know if I get to the bottom of it!
Thanks for posting
This sounds like an irritating problem!
I can't see any issues with your Hub that would cause any wireless issues.
What modem iPhone is it? Have you ensured the software is up to date?
