how to stop superhub 3.0 responding to external ping

If I use 'shields up' to check my security situation, it returns a report and shows that my super hub 3.0 is responding to ping requests. I would prefer it didnt respond, but cant see a setting on the hub to allow me to turn it off.

Anyone know how I might do this please?

Thanks for help

Re: how to stop superhub 3.0 responding to external ping

The unless thing called a firewall in the hub 3 can be turned on...or is it off...but its likely that, bit useless really because what if you want a given IPs to ICMP you in and block all the rest...not with the hub 3 you can't.

Yes the firewall is turned on as below:

IPv4 firewall

Firewall protection - On

Block fragmented IP packets - Off

Port scan detection - On

IP flood detection- On

There aren't any visible options other than these.

Hmm, something must have changed, before if the firewall was on ping was off which made it a  pain to set up the ping monitor..
