Windows 10 and wifi

We changed to Virgin yesterday and had all broadband etc put in. I now cannot connect my laptop to the internet as it just doesn't come up at all as being an available network. I have windows 10 and have read that there have been problems, and I've tried to follow advice given online but nothing seems to be working and I really really need to use my laptop! Please help!!

Re: Windows 10 and wifi

Is the WiFi turned on on your laptop? There was a bug in Windows 10 that turned wifi off. Disabling and then reenabling the WiFi adapter should sort it out.

Can any other devices see the Wireless networks?

If you have the Hub 3 (VMDG 505) then you can try giving the 2.4Ghz network and 5Ghz networks different name.

I would also try deleting any old wireless profiles in Manage known networks.

I would also check that the wireless adapter's drivers are up to date according to the adapter's manufacturer's website.
