WiFi not connecting.

I have a phone n laptop that won't connect to the WiFi. All other phones and another laptop is fine. If I connect to other WiFi they connect straight away. Have tried WPS and it sometimes connects then disconnects after a few seconds or minutes. Have tried forgetting password turning router off everything. Can anyone advise.

Sorry to hear about this Yelyah,

Have you tried connecting via Ethernet at all?

It may also be worth Changing your Virgin Media Hub's wireless channel to potentially improve this type of connection.

Speak soon,

Re: WiFi not connecting.

Hi there

had this problem with iPads, virgin won't come out to fix wifi problems as they don't guarantee a wifi connection, yeh I know unbelievable. I went through channel changes galore, no help. In the end, I ended up buying a new router and putting the not so super super hub in modem mode. I'm on 200mb and am now getting 150mb on 5ghz wifi and over 200 on hard wired. I have had no problems since, if you kick up a fuss you might get a few quid on your account. Hope this helps, pity virgin don't.
