Wi-fi full bars no internet and exclamation mark

I have tried turning off and on the router and my phone shows full bars except there's an exclamation mark next to it and it says there's no internet in the wi-fi settings.

The 2.4ghz and tick are both blue and flashing and occasionally the yellow traffic/arrow does too!
Any suggestions?

1st got to work out if its a wifi or an internet problem.

Does a wired connection work ?

Not sure as I don't use Ethernet or have any cables but I think it might be an internet problem as virgin can't connect to it either.

Sorry to read you are having issues with your broadband connection. I can imagine how frustrating this must be.

We are experiencing the exact same, and I have 2 daughters with exams this month in School and Uni who need uninterrupted access for their studies. Please advise quick remedy?

Hi. I have been having this same problem for a while now on my phone and tablet. Have tried turning all off and back on again and sometimes get internet back for a short while but then goes again. Does anyone have a permanent solution for this.
