WIFI signal terrible, no Netflix for several days

For months I've had terrible wifi signal in my flat - it's fine where the modem is in the lounge at the front of the flat, but when I'm using my phone or iPad in the bedrooms at the back of the flat it's useless so I'm spending more money on data from my (Vodafone) phone. I've tried moving the modem but I'm restricted by the cable. There are no big heavy walls or other obstacles between the modem and my bedrooms, and the flat isn't particularly large.  I've also had no Netflix on the lounge TV for the past few days - it tells me my internet connection may not be working, and yet I can still access Netflix via wifi on my phone?!! Tried a reboot, didn't work. Really not happy with the service lately.

Welcome to our forum, I am sorry you are having problems with the wireless signal, it can be so frustrating as it may be impeded by so many variables, interference, range, location etc. We have produced a selection of wireless guides that may explain and help further.
