Re: SUPERHUB 2 HACKING WARNING

thanks for the Which links...

only a few lines in and I'm already pulling a Trump face Smiley Frustrated

We were also able to log in to the router’s configuration page, since the default password for doing so is shared across all Super Hub 2 devices."

urrrrrr IF it is the commonly known default password of CHANGEME, why did Which bother 'cracking' anything?

geeeezzz louise these reporters really fluff it up!

...next it'll be WARNING: BURGLAR BREAKS IN USING A VERY PARTICULAR SET OF SKILLS, SKILLS ACQUIRED OVER A VERY LONG CARRER VIA THE OPEN FRONT DOOR! Smiley Very Happy

Re: Virgin Media WiFi Security

Is this article related?

"Virgin Media has now deployed a firmware patch that addresses this shortcoming and assured customers they are no longer at risk."

If so, when was the new firmware update deployed - I don't see one.  Is it the 'Software version'?  Mine is V1.01.14.

With respect Cybmole

While some of your posts are useful the last two posts in this thread have no relevance to the topic being discussed.

If you have anything else useful to contribute to the topic at hand then please feel free to add it though.
