V6 Hub 3.0 reset procedure

Hi, I have been trying to switch the hub from modem mode to router mode without success. Logging into 192.168.100.1, I can change settings but when I set it to reboot it will not do it. Switching off doesn't change anything, and switching off and on reboots back into modem mode. I believe my only option is to do a factory reset, but is it a soft one or a hard one? Does a soft one ever work, seeing as I cannot get it to reboot once I set the changes as above. Also, does it make any reason whatever browser one uses? If a hard reset, is there a particular procedure to use? Many people say click the reset for 10 seconds and switch off for 60 seconds. Some say press reset until hub switches off. Others say it doesn't work. Hence my need for clarification, if it doesn't work then I will have to get it replaced. Any and all help would be most appreciated. Regards,

1. It is a "hard reset"
2. No difference whatsoever (browser)
3. Pin in hold for 30 seconds, job done

HI ya, Dose the 30 sec reset put it back to the same as out of the box?
