The V6 Must connect to the internet, via either CAT5e cable to hub, wireless (if signal is ok) or homeplugs. The TiVo box can only connect via CAT5E cable to your hub. You only need the TiVo to connect to your hub if you are going to play programmes recorded on it via the V6.

I'm one of the non techno people and do not want to commit unless i fully understand the set up. I do not want to lose my Tivo recordings if i take the V6 on , plus if i use power lines my plug situation means using power extension boards which people tell me is a no no .So unless I'm convinced it will work I'll stick with the Tivo or look at other options.
