Using phone and password

This may seem rather trivial.  When I phone Virgin I am asked to touch the first character of my password on the phone key, then the second or third etc  I get it wrong each time.  If the first character of my password is say, letter s, do I touch 7 on my phone?  Help anyone please.

Re: Using phone and password

The password it asks for a specific one for when you call in. It's not your My Virgin Media password or any other for online services.

Saying that, yes you should press the number the letter is on as per the standard keypad layout https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telephone_keypad
