Unable to connect to internet

I've already called VM - got offshore, who's booked me in a technician for 15th Feb. He says the issue is that because I have only 1 channel locked on both downstream & upstream, that it points to a physical issue.

Was working absolutely fine up until 30 mins ago, and I would dearly love to have access to the internet at the weekend, so is there anything else I can do rather than wait?

About the only thing you can do yourself is to check that the cable connections between your hub and the wall the wall socket are not loose ... and reboot the hub.
