Tivo Won't Connect to Home Network

My Tivo is not being picked up by the app and it won't connect to the Home network.

I've checked the network settings on the Tivo box and it's showing a 169.xxx.xxx.xxx IP address. Tivo and router have both been rebooted and ethernet cable is connected from the SuperHub to the Tivo.

Can you advise on how I can get the Tivo to pick up a 192.168.0.xxx address as the option to automatically pick one up doesn't work and manually setting one doesn't work either?

It should pick it up automatically.

Your HUB is not in modem mode is it?

Make sure the DHCP server on the HUB is switched on.

HUB is in Router mode and DHCP server is enable.

Turned out that I tried 3 faulty ethernet cables. The 4th one worked and all is rosey :-)
