Superhub 2ac losing connection every 20-30 minutes

Hi there, for the past week or so our connection has been dropping every 20-30 minutes but reconnects within a matter of seconds.

It doesn't sound like much of a problem but when streaming Netflix or playing games online it causes everything to shut down as it has still lost its connection. We have a Superhub 2ac and I have some info I think is useful, please let me know if there is anything else you need.

I have already tried a number of things such as restarting the hub box and resetting connections on the TV, PC, tablets and consoles, but nothing has worked as of yet.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Superhub 2ac losing connection every 20-30 minutes

If it's any help my Super Hub 2 has had to be re-booted 3 times today as the internet got slower and ground to a halt, rebooted and than all OK for a few hours and then off we go again. Did think about ringing support but didn't relish wasting 2 hours of my life...... :-(

Re: Superhub 2ac losing connection every 20-30 minutes

It's strange, ours doesn't get slower. Just disconnects for a matter of seconds, then re-connects. But when streaming videos or playing games online it will cause you to log out. It was the worst last night, happening every 6 minutes or so.

What version of the SH2ac software are you on.  If it's 'upgrade' v2.01.11 then that could well be the problem because they got it very wrong.  VM are in the process of sending out another 'upgrade' which is simply rolling back to the original tried and trusted v1.01.11 so you may want to keep rebooting your hub every few hours to see if the roll-out has reached your hub yet.

Re: Superhub 2ac losing connection every 20-30 minutes

Thanks Dave. Seems like we are on V2.01.11. I'll try a couple of times the next few days. Thanks for your suggestion.

Re: Superhub 2ac losing connection every 20-30 minutes

Will all the superhub 2acs on firmware v2.01.11 receive the update back to v1.01.11?

Logically they should.  You may just need to keep rebooting (power off and back on) your hub from time to time to get the download.
