I was just wondering if someone could possibly check the following settings to see if my hub is giving out sufficient power?
I have 3 laptops that are connected regularly, and signal strength varies. On one however, I am sitting about 7 feet away from the hub and get a very poor signal, and it can frequently drop all together. I could easily understand that it may be the laptop rather than the router, but thought I'd check. (I am running on windows 10 and have tried the IP address check/renewal and this didn't work).
Sorry, posted that too quickly. I have also checked the channel on the router is set to auto, so there shouldn't be any issues there. Another oddity is that my neighbour is also on VM and despite being through a couple of walls, his signal shows up stronger than my own hub!
Thanks for the update. That's good that the network issue has been fixed, however I'm still experiencing some issues with our hub. From those power settings, can you tell me if they look ok? Occasionally the data transfer light flashes green and we are unable to connect. As I'm typing, the hub has disconnected/data transfer dropped, 3 times.
My son has some important exams coming up and we really need to be able to connect to the wifi so that he can complete online exam papers.
