I have been a loyal virgin media customer for about 2 years now using their fibre optic broadband. I have had the same hun since I joined and I'm that time it has become damaged and split in half, it still works but the range seems to be awful and cuts out alot. Also if I touch the box itself it has a loss connection that makes the whole hub reboot and sometes takes hours to regain internet. Is there any way to get a new gun and also will there be a charge. Thanks
2 years is not that long. You can report the SHub as faulty by calling 150 and there should be no problem in getting it replaced but there could well be a charge if the damage was your fault. You may be able to claim on your household insurance, but may not be worth it.
