Super Hub 3 Information

Hi

when i last phoned Virgin up to change my package they suggested upgrading to Super Hub 3 the operator said this would solve my power level issues. Can someone advise me on this?

Changing a Hub would not fix power levels, they need to be adjusted by an Engineer at the street cabinet.

There may be a small change due to the hub hardware differences, but I would doubt anyone would call this a "fix".

The power levels will only be known once the Hub is installed and connected up in situ. The levels, in general, should be between -6 to +10 Downstream and 35 to 51 upstream.

Yes our upstream is always around 39-41 but this time our downstream is 15+

Do you know why the levels keep doing this?

+15 is outside the limits. I would phone and request a line check from the VM side. It may need an engineer out, or there could be a know fault in your area.

It can take up to a week for the Mods to respond here, so a phone call would be quicker. Smiley Happy

Will give them a call tonight. i always monitor the power levels from time to time, one of those things i guess Smiley Sad
