Super Hub 2

Having problems with Super Hub 2 internet connection frequently dropping out. Any suggestions how to prevent this?

Is the connection dropping on a wired or wireless connection.

It would help to test the connection with a device directly connected to the hub by ethernet cable.

Hi LindaOgilvie, 

Thanks for the post! I am sorry to hear about your issues with your Super Hub 2 frequently dropping connections, I apologise for any inconvenience caused.

I have tested the connection from here and everything looks great! No errors or time outs inside the Hubs logs and all of your power levels are within the preferred ranges.

Are you still having these issues? If so, please respond to me here with a recent copy of your Hubs logs for me to compare with the data we have here. You can find these by opening your internet browser and typing 192.168.0.1 into the address bar, before logging in it will say 'Router Status' in the top right hand corner,  click there and all the information needed is inside.

Also, how are you connected wired or wireless?

Is there any change to the Hubs light sequence when the connection drops?

Yes I am still having trouble with it dropping out . Not sure what you need from Router log status. Is it the info below? The connection is wireless.

Thanks for getting back to us with additional info Smiley Happy

I've just checked this again and I can see you rebooted yesterday and since then you've had no time-outs at all. When you reboot it clears the counters so are you able to leave your Superhub online without a reboot for a few days so we can get some good readings.

Yes ok will do. Had to reboot as had lost wifi.
