Slow speed, WiFi drop; I need professional advice, Please Help!

I have problem. wifi drop down all the time! Ping its 20ms-40ms and about every 30-40s its drop to 500ms! 250ms! Internet speed usualy is 150MB Happy but some time drop down to 2mb (instead of 200). Info that nothing wrong is with your Hub etc. maybe I added something to network or my laptop etc or fish tankn is on the way bla bla...
Maybe Virgin is the fastest but this is not everything. For many, working from home, network stability is more important.

Can some one can help Please.

I can update Hub (from 2) to 3 or get new own hub, but i need stable WIFI and server respond (ping).

Maciej

Hi there Maciej,

Welcome to the community. It's nice to have you here.

Sorry to read that you are having issues with your wireless connection.

To improve the connection through wireless you can change the wireless channel.

Have you tried using a wired connection to see if that is more stable for you?

Can you post your ping test results for us to take a look at please?

Looking at your connection, there are no apparent issues on the network that would cause any problems with your broadband.

Let us know how you get on

Sam

Re: Slow speed, WiFi drop; I need professional advice, Please Help!

Hi

Thank you for reply... as I mentioned. The problem is not on my side.
I thought that someone would write that in my area are doing there any changes made, you have any problems ....
So, I changed channels, I'm on the 2.4 and 5 Hz, I was checking on Lan. Wifi is not stable because your software, but why lately is worse? Or 2MB speed? So probably something with my computer, and the second, and two iPads and iPhones. Or too much at once ... I do not understand why you want my ping test? What will this change? It is what it is and you know how blind are working your cables? Soon I change my place of residence so I will bother me later how to connect.

Thank you for your interest anyway...
Best wishes

Maciex
