Slow or no internet at night

Hi, I've noticed every evening after approx 9pm until early hours in the morning (I'm typing this at 1am!!) we get very little or no internet!! This is extremely frustrating as the iPad becomes out of use and as for our mobiles, we end up using our data often resulting in exceeding our allowances.
I can't imagine that at 1am the Internet is frequented to the point where it no longer works. Please can this issue be addressed before we find another supplier.
