Slow 5Ghz wifi at night.

Hi,

Wonder if anyone can help please.  I have superhub 2ac.

I have the 70mb package.

On an evening, devices connected to the 5ghz signal slow down.

I can plug my laptop into the router (wired) and it runs at 70mb, while other devices can run significantly slower.  The speeds are the same even if I take the device and sit next to the router.  However, during the day the devices run at full speed.  No one else is using the broadband at the same time.

I know you can select the wifi channel, 1,7,11 (or similar), but I'm under the impression that this is for 2ghz frequency, not 5ghz frequency?

Is there anything else I can check or do?

Many thanks,

Rich

Re: Slow 5Ghz wifi at night.

Hello Rich

Interesting I wonder if it is interference. It is possible to change the 5G channels although not sure if it is the best thing to do, we have a guide here that may help explain more Getting the best Wireless Network Signal

Thank you

Nicola
