Sky On Demand Fails to connect

Hi,

My Sky On Demand service has suddenly stopped working on both my wired and wireless connected sky boxes. I have a connection to the router but I have a fail on connection to On Demand services. Does anyone have any solutions or suggestions on how to fix this?

I have the same problem.

I also can't sign into Sky website with my sky ID but works fine from other network.

I've reset everything at my end and it doesn't help.

There must be some sort of network issue between Virgin and Sky.

Just checked my sky box still connected to my router and able to download an on demand program no problem.

signed in to sky account via web site from desktop ok

just for clarity connected like this

virgin router in modem mode > netgear wndr3700 router > 10/100 switch > sky HD plus box

                                                                                                 > 10/100/1000 switch > desktop PC

so its not a nation wide problem

 first suggestion would be to reboot broadband and sky boxes .

Yeah I am having the same issue connecting to sky websites or skyid.

I contacted sky but it isn't there issue it is a Virgin issue

I've restarted everything as well - Superhub + Router + Sky Box ... even network switches.

My config is 2AC in modem mode to Draytek 2860 to Sky Box.

Been ok for well over a year ... until today.

I'm in Southampton SO16 and it's happened to me as well. Reset and rebooted everything but still down. Also my Roku streamer will not connect to anything, cannot get into some sky help sites, and various other site pages will not load, but the good news is my speed tester shows I'm getting 95 out of 100!!!!. Status check says there is no problem with broadband here.

So, to all intents the internet is fine, it's just not working. Presume/hope it is a Virgin problem that will sort itself quickly.
