The main cable connection to the router has broken off. Help

hiya @petexxxx you can wait for a forum admin to pick this up which will be a few days, or you could call broadband support via 151 / 0345 454 1111 or online chat @ http://contact.virignmedia.com if you contact support can you post the outcome here

I have managed to fudge this to get it working again but know as soon as I move it the cable will come out again. I assume I need a replacement router.

Have phoned Virgin, they have arranged for an engineer to visit.
