Router Problems

I have been with Virgin for a number of years and had good wifi from the original router.  About 6 months ago I upgraded to the new Super hub and since then have experienced nothing but problems with connection and drop outs. 

I have contacted support who have talked me through changing channels, resetting the router but this is not rectifying the problem.

Am I able to request a new router as I think this one if faulty?
