Router Change caused LAN problems

I have recently updated to the Hub 3.0 changing from the superhub1 router.
Since the change over I have encountered some networking problems I can access the internet fine via an ethernet cable from my computer however now I can not host a media server or a LAN game server.

I have tried uninstalling and clean installing games and media programmes however has not fixed the issue. Only hardware has changed as no settings have changed on the machine. Other devices on the router can host media and LAN servers with out any problems.

Does anyone have any ideas in how to solve this?

Thank you

Running Windows 7 on effected machine.

Re: Router Change caused LAN problems

Hello Dek8000

Welcome to our forum, I am sorry you are having problems hosting a server since the hub upgrade, I wonder if is down to firewall settings and perhaps some ports need forwarding. We have a guide here to help with the hub bit Setting up port forwarding and port triggering on my Virgin Media router

Thank you

Nicola
