Ring video doorbell

I have just bought a Ring video doorbell. When I go through the setup procedure, all goes well until I have to connect to my router. The list of available connections populates, but mine isn't listed. The SSID isn't hidden. I can see other VM routers but not mine. I have followed all guidance to no avail. Any help greatly appreciated.

Re: Ring video doorbell

Is the hub too far away?

Re: Ring video doorbell

Sitting right next to it trying to do setup! The bell sees other routers that are some distance away, but not mine. The SSID isn't hidden and all other wireless devices can see the router.

Re: Ring video doorbell

its possible the hub is on a wireless channel the doorbell doesn't like/ins't compatible with you could check this guide -> http://help.virginmedia.com/system/selfservice.controller?CMD=VIEW_ARTICLE&ARTICLE_ID=27539&CURRENT_... i would try channels 1,6,11 (standard non-overlapping)
