Ring Pro Doorbell

My Ring Pro worked fine on my old broadband. Today I had the Virgin Media Hub 3 installed. Everything works fine except my Ring Pro. Could it be that the WiFi frequency is an issue? My old WiFi worked on 2.4GHz. Thank you!

Re: Ring Pro Doorbell

Hello nikram

Welcome to our forum, I wonder what is going on with your door bell. Is it actually connecting to the wireless, it should work on the available hub wireless bands but it is possible to change them in case something is causing a problem Changing your Virgin Media Hub's wireless channel

If it has connected then it may be a firewall issue, perhaps some ports need forwarding What Ports Do I Need to Open in My Firewall for Ring Doorbells and Chimes? on the hub Setting Up Port Forwarding and Port Triggering on your Virgin Media Hub

Please let us know how it goes

Thank you

Nicola

Re: Ring Pro Doorbell

Problem solved! I discovered that the & symbol in my SSID (network name) wasn't compatible with Ring. Once I changed that, it connected in an instant. Hope this may help others...
