Requesting new SuperHub

Hello,

Is there a way I can request a newer Superhub (either the 2, 2AC, or 3) to replace my ageing Superhub 1?

My current Superhub 1 is the cause of my internet dropping out from time to time, because a re-set will bring back connectivity. It also does not work properly in Modem only mode, the connection drops out even more frequently in this mode, and I have tested this with multiple routers.

I don't want to go through the whole rigmarole of:

VM rep apologises on here
VM rep makes up excuses
VM rep say they'll send out an 'engineer'
Engineer never comes
I chase for 'engineer'
The 'engineer' finally arrives, tests the hub.
Claims it is working because it happens to be fine when he looked at it
Doesn't listen when I protest that it is temperamental, and then leaves again. 

I just want a new hub, no ifs, no buts, no "we can't do that", no "it isn't compatible with your package you'll need to upgrade" rubbish. If you can't give me one for free, I am happy to pay for one as long as it isn't a ridiculous amount. If you tell me I need to upgrade, I will. To BT or Sky. 

Don't tell me to phone because I can't due to work hours, and on the Weekends I get put through to scripted Indian call centres with agents who are more useless than an incredibly useless thing.

Actually you know what, ignore my scathing post. Turns out i'm eligible for an upgrade which includes a hub... Smiley Happy

Sorry to hear that you're having problems with your Superhub 2AC.

 

I won't be able to replace it without performing diagnostics. I've checked to see if there's any problems with your power levels etc and everything looks normal.

 

Do you have problems with your wireless and hard-wired connection, or only the wireless?

Maybe one or twice a week, one of the lights (shared like a double ended arrow), instead of blue, goes green for a while, and no-one can use the internet, until we turn everything off, then wait for it all to reinitialize...

Is there any way one can request a new Hub 3.0 - willing to pay an upgrade price - I am on the 200mb package - but do not want to upgrade to the gamer bundle

Whatever you do dont go for a Superhub3.0 the intel cpu firmware chipset and possibly cpu have a "slight" issue according to intel.

In other words the cpu cannot keep up with the high broadband speed buffering and unbuffering process in addition to its housekeeping tasks.

The cpu is not fit for purpose it seems!
