Remote access to my router used to work for Hub 2.0 but with the new one it appears not to.
I am in router mode (not modem mode). I enabled Remote Access and it tells me I should use port 8443. However, it does not tell me what IP address to use.
So I guess I need to use the IP shown in Admin | Info | IPv4 address for example:
But Chrome outside of my home network reports "This site cannot be reached" since the site took too long to respond.
Should I be looking elsewhere for the IP address to use?

The ip address you use is your WanIP
easiest way to find it is at home to go to google and type
what is my ip.
Its probably also in the hub somewhere, but I run in modem mode and wouldn't know where to look.
ok I should read your message properly.. hmm ought to work..
although you may want to try http instead of https incase there are certificate problems
also when at work what happens when you ping your WAN address

Thanks I really appreciate your reply.
Here's the funny thing. The WAN IP is the same as the IP address I looked at in the Info menu. But I tried it again anyway and it works. Weird?
Thank you so much, without your response I would not have tried it again!
Thanks. Just sorted out. After allowing the remote connection in the box 3.0 to port 8403, I logged in remotely using https://<myIPnumber>:8403
