I am new to the service. It's been a big disappointment so far.
The hub 3 has a constant purple light - I understand this is modem mode and not the modem/router mode I need? Anyway - I have read back these forums and reset the device holding for 30 seconds. I just go back to the purple light only on the front and no connection. Does anyone have a similar issue? What lights should be showing on the front and how do I get this to work?
You will need to be connected to the hub by ethernet cable as you are in modem mode. Try it again if it doesn't work. You may have to reboot the Hub once you have connected a device to the hub. I would also check that you are not using a proxy or VPN.
The Pinhole Reset can be a bit finecky at times, you will need to push the pin in for a good 40secs with the Hub switched on.
