Port Foward Problems

Have a new super hub 3 and trying to port forward to an ir over ip device sitting on the network. Works fine on the lan but the port seems to be blocked when testing over internet. The port is 65432 which i have set up to port forward both on the super hub as a router and on a 3rd party router with VM in modem mode, neither works. I currently have VM hub in modem mode with a TP link router, everything else seems fine. I have read in the forums there are some port forward issues with the virgin equipment? Any suggestions would be welcomed. Many thanks

But its in modem mode so no port forwarding needed.

i mean i have tried the port forwarding with the VM hub in router mode and with a 3rd party router

Likely your firewall on device is blocking it.

If its TCP you can port scan it.
